PT de aktif olan, movie yi Firewire den gonder modu sayesinde.Elde olan bir video D/A converter sayesinde, istenilen prezantasyon aletine gonderim yapilabilir, converter olarak, eldeki DVcamcorder, Firewire DV deckler, yada bir cok kullanici tarafindan benimsenen, AVC-1000 firewire capture card ve benzerleri.
Pc ye gelince, birde LE version varsa durumlar cok karisik, hirs yaptim acilan konu ustune her yeri arastirdim cok spesifik kart lar ve hileler sonucu yapabiliyorsunuz.
Quicktime in windows ortami icin,yaptigi bilincli veya teknik nedenler den dolayi, bu olay bukadar zorlasiyor.
Pc kullanicilari icin oncelikle Quick time 6.3 bir sart. Digeri ise S-Video Output. malasef Firewire output kullanilamiyor.
diger bir onem ise QT nin Pro versiyonunda bulunan, filminizi Hint movie yapma ozelligi buda makinanizin kasilmasini buyuk bir olcude azalticak.
Uygulama sekilleri( DUC den alim)
1. Matrox P750 tripple head video karti ile
DirectX 8.1 as standard in WinXPSP1, don't upgrade.
QT6.3: Do the "full or recomended" installation not minimal.
QT settings, Video: safe option won't do, check everything else exept DirectDraw on secondary monitor. Also under connection, check "allow multiple streams".
Matrox Powerdesk:
Multi-Display setup: 2displays, streched mode+ 1 feature display
Video Playback settings: Use video overlay-checked
Use PureVideo/DVDMax-checked
Assist video motion compensation-unchecked
PureVideo/DVDMax settings: Preserve aspect ratio, video window, 4:3
Uncheck all advanced settings (preserve source cropping etc.)
Help> Troubleshooting Settings: check the first two.
Not all of these make a difference, just try them.
VERY IMPORTANT is the VIDEO CODEC you use: Try QT DV first. NOT all codecs work for full screen TVout

Parhelia 128(2 monitors stretched + TV out), AMIII, PTLE 6.1.1, WinXP SP1, QTreference mov's from Avid XpressDV and most important: QuickTime 6.3(6.5 doesn't work).
THE TRICK IS THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE QUICKTIME WINDOW COVERED. Position the QT window inside PT at the bottom of the screen so it's almost covered by the taskbar. Same thing with the standalone QTplayer outside ProTools.
It's deffinetly a QT issue.
3.Buda herhangi bir Video kart(s-Video output olmasi sart)
The desktop is set to stretch across both monitors.
I’ve now opened ProTools here, and started a new session. Import a WAV. Then I import a mov file. I move the video to a point at the bottom of the screen where most of it, BUT NOT ALL, is offscreen. And leave it there. The PAL monitor pops into life, and the whole system works fine.
This moving-offscreen thing ONLY works on the primary monitor. Not on both.
The mov is 240 x 180, 25fps, and encoded with Sorenson (NOT sorenson 3).
Any movie with these settings will work.
So ideally you should have the movie you are working on at these settings too (or any 4:3 ratio with the numbers divisible by 4, maybe 8)
You may be tempted to simply re-encode the working video you have. Be careful, as this may result in lost or gained frames. Re-encode from your original.
I haven’t re-encoded my original (JL.mov) yet, which is widescreen and so not 4:3. So I’ll have to add a black area top n bottom to get the aspect ratio right.
However, at the moment, once I have the system up and running with busted.mov, I can import JL.mov movie (which then replaces busted.mov) and the system will continue working. It seems to need to be kicked into the right mode, and once it’s working it continues doing so.
But if I reboot, it won’t work with JL.mov any more, and I have to start all over with busted.mov, and then re-import JL.mov again. This doesn’t cause sync problems since the first frame automatically lines up with the beginning of the sound track.
So far it works. But I will re-encode the original (in After Effects which allows me to burn in my own reference timecode) to stop doing this mov business.
